In a telephone conference call this morning, Democrat Massachusetts Senator John Kerry blames Rush Limbaugh for Barack Obama’s loss to Hillary Clinton in Indiana last night.
“Rush Limbaugh was tampering with the primary,” Kerry said “If it was not for Republicans taking Democratic ballots, he would have won,” he said of Obama.

Sunday started out fairly quiet on the exhibit floor, I think there were more vendors talking amongst themselves than to attendees. Traffic picked up the last hour or so, after the classes started letting out. I spent most of Sunday morning speaking with manufacturer’s and distributors about their thoughts on the 2008 CDA and the common theme that ran through all of my conversations was lack of attendance. One gentleman I spoke with said this was the lowest attended meeting that he could remember in his 35+ years in the dental industry. Is operation Chaos an acting out of Rush Limbaugh’s POL CRUSH on Hillary Clinton? After all Hillary says: “He’s always had a crush on me.”
Stephanopoulos pointed out that radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has encouraged Republicans to vote for Clinton to divide the Democratic Party, prompting one of the lighter moments of the show.
“He’s always had a crush on me,” Clinton said, as the room of about 200 people erupted into laughter.
Just a reminder to all Indiana Republicans - VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON on Tuesday.

Flap has blown off the last day of the California Dental Association (CDA) Convention in Anaheim. The astute stupid organizers ONLY allocate one segment of continuing education and close the exhibit hall at 2 PM.
CDA leadership must re-think their schedule if they wish to attract commuting dentists from Southern California and make Sunday a worthwhile day for the commercial businesses that sponsor the show.
There is certainly NOT sufficient time to take classes and then see some of the latest dental products and equipment - and then to have fun with the family and staff? Too much of a challenge - e...

Rumors were flying about the convention hall today, like panties at a Bon Jovi concert. Who is the next takeover target, who is going out of business and which manufacturer was siding with PDCO or HSIC.
Traffic seemed to be a bit thin for a Saturday although afternoon traffic seemed to pick up a bit. Consensus by both the mfg’s and the distributors was that sales were a bit off from previous years. Digital is still the hot ticket this year. I must say I was surprised to see so many “gray market” dealers on the floor with sizable booth space. Flap arrived at the Anaheim Hilton and the California Dental Association Convention in record time this morning. The freeways were remarkably clear and the speeding went well @ 75-85.
Parking in the main lot was easy and smooth. I suspect most everyone will sleep in and crush the place around 10 or so. But, who knows? Maybe the staff and dentists came out yesterday?
