Motivation for those who have survived the cancers listed in your study to take dietary supplements is driven, in my opinion, by the desire to take good care of the body we have been given. After the cancer treatments have ceased, there is also a desire to "do something" to care for oneself. Does anyone else have any experience? I currently have a patient recently diagnosed with pulmonary involvement only, who presented with bilateral non-bloody effusions. Review of all available literature indicates no role for chemotherapy. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
