Association between obesity and atopic disorders in Chinese adults: an individually matched case--control study
Conclusions: Obesity is positively associated with the presence of atopic diseases in Chinese adults. Specifically, obesity is significantly associated with atopic dermatitis and rhinitis. Our findings warrant further investigation on the causal nature between obesity and atopic diseases and the effect of weight reduction on preventing atopic diseases.

Conclusion. A total of 4.4% of positive TRUE Test® reactions would be missed, and 9.1% might be missed, if only one reading was performed on D3/4. The results emphasize that many doubtful reactions at D3/4 may develop into positive reactions at a later reading. Several disperse dyes (DDs) are still considered to be the most important allergens in textile dermatitis, but there are sparse data about their current use in textiles. Response of human chondrocytes and mesenchymal stromal cells to a decellularized human dermis
Conclusions: The results obtained showed that in in vitro conditions HDM_derm behaves as a suitable scaffold for the growth of both well-differentiated chondrocytes and undifferentiated mesenchymal cells, thus ensuring a biocompatible and bioactive substrate. In this study we have investigated the effect of libanoridin isolated from Corydalis heterocarpa against UVB induced damage in human keratinocyte (HaCaT) cells and the molecular mechanism underlying those effects. ConclusionRe‐coloring of poliosis with vitiligo is possible but was unexpected because of the difference in mechanism and signaling required between hair bulb melanization and the surface skin. One likely mechanism to explain this change is that melanocyte stem cells are stimulated and migrate to supply hair bulbs with new mature melanocytes. Epithelial grafting of vitiligo with poliosis in hairy areas should be a treatment of choice when white hair tufts cause cosmetic disfigurement.

Estimating the Number of Lifetime Follicular Units: A Survey and Comments of Experienced Hair Transplant Surgeons
ConclusionThere are a finite number of FUs containing permanent hairs in any patient. The results of this survey provide a guideline that should be helpful in avoiding inappropriately aggressive goals such as creating overly dense or overly anterior frontal and temporal hairlines without regard for a cautious evaluation of the limitations of likely long‐term donor/recipient area ratios. Ablative Fractional Resurfacing in Topical Drug Delivery: An Update and Outlook
ConclusionAFR‐assisted drug delivery is a promising tool for the future of dermatology. We expect to see a number of agents to be paired with AFR for enhanced drug delivery. Further investigation is necessary to evaluate appropriate drug specific channel density and depth parameters. Factors that must be considered include the physicochemical properties of the drug, the target tissue, skin wounding, and cost when evaluating the drugs and conditions that will most benefit from this promising new drug delivery system.

Daily intake of Jeju groundwater improves the skin condition of the model mouse for human atopic dermatitis
In this study, effects of the natural groundwater from Jeju Island on clinical symptoms and skin barrier function in atopic dermatitis (AD) were evaluated. NC/Tnd mice, a model for human AD, with moderate to severe dermatitis were used. Mice were given different natural groundwater or tap water for 8 weeks from 4 weeks of age. Clinical skin severity scores were recorded every week. Scratching analysis and measurement of transepidermal water loss were performed every other week.
