Latest Comment by DONNA - June 26, 2008: THANK YOU FOR THIS INFORMATION. JUST NOW HEARD OF TTP, AS A DEAR FRIEND IS CURRENTLY VERY ILL AND IT IS BELIEVED HE HAS TTP. CAN YOU SHARE ANY MORE INFORMATION OR SUGGESTIONS, HE IS NOW IN THE HOSPITAL AND BEGINNING TO GO THROUGH THE PLASMA EXHCANGE TREATMENT. IT IS NOT CERTAIN THAT TTP IS THE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS BUT BECAUSE HIS PLATLET COUNT IS SO VERY LOW THEY MUST DO SOMETHING IMMEDIATELY.
WILL APPRECIATE ANY SUGGESTIONS. THIS LOOKS GRIM TO US AT THIS TIME.
