Latest Comment by Avie - September 6, 2009: I have a family member who has developed a tic in her upper-lip, which moves upward, briefly exposing her teeth, in a jerking motion. It occurs when she drinks a lot. She is unaware of it when it occurs, and gets very agitated and angry when asked about it. She is a high-functioning alcoholic, the daughter of a deceased alcoholic father. I have searched thru the internet and can find no connections to alcoholism and this tic.
