Supplements for a 10 months old baby? (

Hi, our daughter is almost 10 months old now, and I was wondering what type of supplements we could give her. We already take some vitamins, and put two tablespoons of olive oil with her food, but I was wondering about probiotics and omega 3/DHA supplements, as I have read many positive experiences here.

So, my question is, what can we give her in order to boost her immune system? What about dosing?

I've found some omega 3 pills at the local drug store, but I'm not sure they are suitable for babies at this age.

Thanks in advance.</p&g...

LOR Question
So I understand that most schools require 2 science letters and 1 nonscience letter. My question is what counts as a nonscience letter? So far I have two TA positions with professors that I have had as teachers before in a biology and nutrition course, so right there are 2 good science letters; however I really have no nonscience classes left to take (I have 2 semesters left of all physics and upper level nutrition courses.) The only nonscience teachers I have had were in my freshman and sophomore year - before I knew I wanted to become a dentist, hence I didn't try to build a relationship with them. When they say &quo...

The Hulkster
The hulkster, named for its greenish hue. 1bananna 2 strawberries 1 tsp ground barley 1 tsp sunwarrior ormus supergreen Oh yeah, and 2 scoops of vanilla icecream And 2 peppermint chocolate cookies for the little ones. I'm not sure what the exact nutritional value is, but its green and yummy and full of calories. The sunwarrior supergreens are organic and full of probiotic cultured greens, alfalfa, barley, wheat and oat grass, spinach, parsley, yucca, peppermint, and stevia. Our son who is 5 drank it and loved it. could probably add a tsp of flaxseed oil if you wanted.

Pre-human med looking into vet
Hello all, I'm a 19 year old junior studying exercise science and I have had the goal of medicine for quite a while now. Lately I've been questioning my interest in human medicine as humans, while I love my fellow person, do not inspire my emotions and drive the way animals do. I'm beginning to fear that my motivations for that field might be materialistic deep down inside. For as long as I can remember I've loved animals. Most kids watched cartoons, I watched National Geographic and read zoology texts (I'm sure this in common with a lot of you!). I honestly feel like I understand animals more than I understand humans half...

We ended up at UNMC Omaha for intestinal rehabilitation treatment and overall it's been very successful. They oversee all of his nutrition. Our local CF team oversees his respiratory issues. We were told that she wouldn't make it and if she did she would be short bowel and on feeding tubes, etc. She pulled through and went home six weeks later. She was tested for CF twice while we were in the NICU in Oklahoma, both times coming back negative(even though her mutations were on the test panel). Anyway--When she left, we were told that she would probably have loose, foul stools, and may have some trouble absorb...
