When/ If to take the MCAT with heavy school load
Okay, so I am currently a junior in College. Last semester (winter 2012) I studied abroad, which means that I am behind on my pre-requisites to take the MCAT. Next semester, If I were to take the Pre-requists for the MCAT, i would be taking Orgo II, Physics II, and animal Physiology and am also in some organizations and doing research. My plans were to take the MCAT in early April. This would give me a month this semester (a week thanksgiving break), my winter break which is about a month and a half of straight studying, during the school year, and my spring break the week before the exam. (Also, I plan on going on a medic...

Tension - Physics
This refers to EK physics 1001 #281 A mass is hanging from a string, T3. T3 is attached to 2 other strings, T1 and T2, which are attached to a ceiling, forming a triangle. If the angle between the ceiling is 30 degrees for both T1 and T2, and the mass is 100kg, then what is the tension of T1? The book says the answer is 1000N, but I don't understand this. I thought it would be 500N because it's sharing the weight with T2.

For Sale Illustrated MCAT PDF Notes Covering Everything on Test & Practice Test Tracker
If you are going to study for the MCAT, get a head start by taking advantage of 5 months of my life's work. I absolutely killed myself studying for this test and it all culminated in something that will be really helpful as a study aid for other people. I took a review course and every class I would highlight the reading and then attend the lecture and take notes. After the class I would sit down for several hours and go through what I had highlighted, my lecture notes, internet materials on topics I was confused on and material from old classes and pick out what was most important, rephrase it into the most understandable...

2014 MCAT, do I only need the Few Four?
I'm wanting to take the MCAT in summer 2014. Since I'm not taking the updated version, should I only need the classes General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Physics going to be enough to get me a good grade if I know those four subjects well? Assume I'll get a 15 on the Verbal Reasoning. What do you think? If anything I will take a Genetics and Cell Biology course as well regardless.

I've just failed my UKCAT(second time,same grade)
Hello everyone... I am a Romanian student and I've just failed my UKCAT 2nd time with the same grade, 2315 respectively(VR 500, QR 550, AR 580, DA 680). I simply don't know what happened, I've worked with 4 books: 750 q's, 600 q's, kaplan book, ukcat for dummies. During my mocks I scored 650, 680 and even 700 ( overall). However, I am really sad because I decided to do a foundation year(science foundation UWE Bristol) in UK this year (in order to get used to biology/chemistry/physics) and to re-apply to medicine this year as I was rejected last year. I will write down some key points of my application. I don't know wha...
