<title>Pneumonia (hap, hcap, cap) ats palm pda application version 1.1 (joshua steinberg md)</title>
            <link>http://www.fmdrl.org/index.cfm?event=c.accessResource&amp;rid=1928</link>
<description>This is a Palm PDA application which walks a physician, student, or resident through the management considerations for nearly all patients with pneumonia. This expands upon the Community Acquired Pneumonia program for Palm I wrote by adding management algorithms for Hosp Acquired Pneumonia and HealthCare Associated Pneumonia cases. Like the CAP program, this also draws upon the American Thoracic Society (ATS) guidelines, incorporating the 2005 HAP/VAP/HCAP one with the 2007 CAP guideline. The ATS '05 guideline is challenging to decipher, so I would appreciate any feedback on my interpretation and algorithm-ization of the guideline for medical accuracy as well as ease and clarity of use. My e-mail address is in the application itself under &quot;about software&quot;. Thanks folks!

Version 1.1: adds simple functionality (I learned a few more programming tricks) and clarifies the wording in places. Otherwise no major changes.
