Steven Tyler Falls During Concert

Steven Tyler of Aerosmith has been airlifted to a hospital after falling during a performance at the Sturgis Rally in South Dakota. The 61-year old singer has suffered minor head, neck, and should injuries. It’s too early to say what the extent of his injuries are.

Someone posted this video on YouTube, and the fall does look pretty serious to me. To just do a turn and lose your footing off of stage like that has to be pretty traumatic. Here’s the clip (the fall is about halfway through the video):

We wish Steven well and hope he recovers quickly.

Yes. The Bon Jovi himself dedicated the kickoff concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom (Manhattan, Tuesday night) to the guitarist’s Richie Sambora’s father - Adam Sambora - who died of lung cancer last year.

Proceeds of the series of said concert (organized by Stand Up For A Cure) will go to the lung cancer cure research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center where Sambora’s father received treatment.
Often detected at its advanced stage - lung cancer - is the leading cause of cancer-related death among both men and women in the U.S.,says the National Cancer Institute.

Filed under: Celebrity newsThe frontman of rock band KISS had to cancel a southern California concert last Friday (July 27th) because of heart troubles. According to music magazine NME, Paul Stanley's heart started racing during sound check and paramedics were called in to help regulate his heart beat. While his heart problems don't appear to be life threatening at the moment, Cardiologists at Cedars Sinai recommended that Stanley cancel the concert to avoid damaging his heart further. Fans weren't left out in the cold though -- the remaining three members of the band took to the stage in his absence, marking the first time the band has played as a trio.Read | Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments (Source: The Cardio Blog)
