Uncivilized behavior in the workplace doesn&amp;#8217;t just put everyone on edge, a new study shows that workplace altercations actually affect the way workers perform. And you don&amp;#8217;t have to be directly involved in a squabble to feel the effects of it – even employees who witnessed a co-worker being insulted or berated performed poorly on cognitive exams.

A University of Florida study showed that workers who have permission to do public service work harder, speak well about their employer in public, take less time off work, and are happier.

            <description>I liked joining six other observers of the scene to co-write Perspectives on the Future of Personal Health Records, a report published this month by the California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF).
Perspectives analyzes the potential of personal health records (PHRs) from different vantage points &amp;#8212; consumer, physician, public health professional, large employer, and so on.
