By Andrew J. CoulsonRhee, the former chancellor of DC Public Schools, and Moskowitz, head of a NYC charter school, were asked at an event last week what they thought of the Supreme Court decision upholding Arizona’s K-12 scholarship donation tax credit program. The program offers a dollar-for-dollar tax cut to anyone who donates to a non-profit Scholarship Tuition Organization (and the STOs then help families pay for private school tuition).
Children’s Scholarship Fund president Darla Romfo asked the question, and here’s the answer she received.

Near Death Experience Might be Worth it With Eva Mendes in her red bikini!~ She can cause a heart to stop, and get it beating, plus get rid of that pesky Erectile Dysfunction problem in the meantime. So, for heart failure, or erection failure – call 911! Tell them you have a erection emergency!
Back to the heart of the matter…
NEW Cardiopulmonary Rescue (CPR) GUIDELINES OUT!
The change ditches the old ABC training — airway-breathing-compressions. That called for rescuers to give two big breaths first, then alternate with 30 presses. Now, CPR should begin with chest compressions instead of opening the victim’s airway and breathing into their mouth first. (this only applies if someone who is not hot is doing the rescue)

Eva Longoria Parker will host a gala in Paris for the Par Coeur Association, an organization she founded with her husband, NBA player Tony Parker, who is French. Par Coeur’s mission is to bring attention to fiscally responsible charities that help families and children all over the world.
The Parisian gala will benefit Toutes A L’Ecoles, a nonprofit organization that helps build schools and education programs for young girls in developing countries. It will also benefit Eva’s Heroes – a nonprofit that assists people with developmental challenges by providing them with support. (Eva has a sister who is mentally challenged.)
That’s one altruistic housewife.

Three episodes into its first season, NBC’s “The Marriage Ref” is getting universally panned. But in the middle of episode two, Tina Fey, Jerry Seinfeld, and Eva Longoria debate the merits of wearing a wedding ring. We won’t tell you what they decide in the end (we know, the suspense is killing you), but we want to know your verdict – would you judge in favor of the husband, or the wife?

Filed under: Celebrity fundraisers, FundraisersEva Longoria took time out her busy acting and wedding-planning schedule to participate in the Spike for Hope charity volleyball tournament, which raises fund for PADRES Contra El Cancer (Parents against Cancer), supporting Latino kids and families that have been affected by cancer. According to Eva, she's not much of a volleyball player, but she couldn't refuse because she's actually the national spokesperson for the organization, whose motto is Yo Soy Esperanza (I am hope). That and she's naturally competitive. I say kudos to her for helping raise some money from a worthy cause.
