(drum roll please)…. and the winner is: Utah. (I can hear the groans and scratching of heads now, saying… Utah?) Happiness was measured by how much people “enjoy their jobs, express deep optimism about future prospects, and even manage to stay healthy.” Utah has crazy low unemployment right now (4.6 % versus the national average of 7.6.)
