As the discussion for health care reforms deepens, one thing experts are looking at is life expectancy. People in the United States have a life expectancy of 78.1 years, which ranks 50th out of 224 nations. This figure is “despite spending more money than any other country on health care.” Some experts say that the reason for this figure is the “privatized nature of the U.S. health care system.” Do you agree?
