Feasibility and Efficacy of Craniosacral Therapy on Sleep Quality in Fibromyalgia Syndrome: a Pre-Post Pilot Trial
CONCLUSION: CST was feasible to deliver with high retention, acceptability, and minimal adverse events. It significantly improved sleep quality in FMS participants along with standard medical care. However, future studies with larger sample sizes and appropriate control groups are required to confirm the findings.PMID:37265538 | PMC:PMC10212567 | DOI:10.3822/ijtmb.v16i2.819

Factors promoting improvements in symptoms and health in women with fibromyalgia and chronic widespread pain: a qualitative interview study
CONCLUSIONS: Experiences of health improvement involved active changes as well as contextual factors. Clinical implications of this study are that increased knowledge regarding pain management, increased physical activity, and reduced stress could contribute to symptom improvement in persons with CWP.PMID:37264559 | DOI:10.1080/09638288.2023.2218655

Chronic overlapping pain conditions and long-term opioid treatment
CONCLUSIONS: Although LOT prescribing has declined over time, it remains relatively high among patients with certain COPCs and for those with multiple COPCs. These study findings suggest target populations for future interventions to manage chronic pain among socioeconomically vulnerable patients.PMID:37229782 | DOI:10.37765/ajmc.2023.89356
