The role of tumor board conferences in neuro-oncology: a nationwide provider survey
This study identifies participation and utilization of neuro-oncology MCMs. A cross-sectional descriptive survey was dispersed through an internet questionnaire. The Society of Neuro-Oncology and the American Brain Tumor Association provided a list of dedicated neuro-oncology centers. AbstractMeasures of treatment intensity for childhood cancer are needed in research in order to control for variability in treatments. Intracranial Aneurysms of Neuro-Ophthalmologic Relevance
Conclusions: Decisions regarding the choice of therapy for intracranial aneurysms causing neuro-ophthalmologic signs ideally should be made at high-volume centers with access to both surgical and endovascular treatments. The status of the patient, location of the aneurysm, and experience of the treating physicians are important factors to consider. Although a higher rate of visual recovery was reported with neurosurgical clipping, this must be weighed against the potentially longer intensive care stays and increased early morbidity.

Palliative care education in U.S. adult neuro-oncology fellowship programs
ConclusionsNeuro-oncology PDs recognize the need for PC education, which is currently offered in some form by most programs, but the content and methods of delivery are heterogenous. Interdisciplinary educational teams and nationally-available PC educational material may improve implementation of PC education in neuro-oncology.

Tele–Neuro-Ophthalmology: Vision for 20/20 and Beyond
Conclusions: Telehealth is an increasingly recognized means of health care delivery. Tele–Neuro-Ophthalmology adoption is necessary for the sake of our patients, the survival of our subspecialty, and the education of our trainees and students. Telehealth does not supplant but supplements and complements in-person neuro-ophthalmologic care. Innovations in digital optical fundus photography, mobile vision testing applications, artificial intelligence, and principles of channel management will facilitate further adoption of tele–neuro-ophthalmology and bring the specialty to the leading edge of health care delivery.

Validity of International Classification of Diseases Codes for Identifying Neuro-Ophthalmic Disease in Large Data Sets: A Systematic Review
Conclusions: Few studies have reported the validity of ICD codes for neuro-ophthalmic conditions. The range of diagnostic accuracy for some disorders and study quality varied widely. Conclusions: Thalamic infarction, especially in paramedian territory, can cause a wide variety of neuro-ophthalmologic manifestations, including vertical gaze palsy, skew deviation, and third nerve palsy. Conclusions: Among virtual neuro-ophthalmology visits evaluated, most offer patients with appointments that satisfy their needs. Most physicians in this cohort obtained adequate clinical information for decision-making. Even better technology and instructions may help improve aspects of virtual health visits.
