Nimg-01. a case report of neurosarcoidosis presenting as a lymphoma mimic
DISCUSSION:Our patient did not have Lymphoma, and had a good response to corticosteroids and infliximab. However, his clinical presentation raised suspicion for lymphoma. Biopsy in these types of cases is necessary to establish correct diagnosis. Neurosarcoidosis has no known cure. Immunosuppression is the principal method of treatment, and corticosteroids are the cornerstone of therapy.

Neuro-Ophthalmic Manifestations of Sarcoidosis
Conclusions: Patients with neurosarcoidosis may present initially with a neuro-ophthalmic manifestation, and this presentation may be more common in older patients. MRI usually is abnormal, although findings may be nonspecific. Serum testing for ACE is not helpful. Normal CT chest does not rule out underlying sarcoidosis, particularly in white patients.

The QuantiFERON-TB Gold In-Tube Assay in Neuro-Ophthalmology
Conclusions: Based on our results, we conclude that routine testing with QFT-GIT in a low-risk cohort did not diagnose active TB infection. We do not recommend routine QFT-GIT testing for TB low-risk individuals, as discerned through patient and exposure history, ocular examination, and clinical judgment, in neuro-ophthalmology practice.

Neuro-ophthalmic complications of IgG4-related disease
Purpose of review IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is increasingly recognized as a fibroinflammatory disease with a plethora of organ-specific manifestations but a particular predilection for head and neck tissues, including the nervous system. This review discusses general features and organ-specific presentations of IgG4-RD as well as treatment considerations, particularly emphasizing features of neuro-ophthalmic interest. Recent findings IgG4-RD is emerging as a common cause of several fibroinflammatory disorders in the head and neck that were previously considered idiopathic, such as sclerosing orbital pseudotumor, ...

Neurosarcoidosis: a clinical approach to diagnosis and management
AbstractSarcoidosis is a rare but important cause of neurological morbidity, and neurological symptoms often herald the diagnosis. Our understanding of neurosarcoidosis has evolved from early descriptions of a uveoparotid fever to include presentations involving every part of the neural axis. The diagnosis should be suspected in patients with sarcoidosis who develop new neurological symptoms, those presenting with syndromes highly suggestive of neurosarcoidosis, or neuro-inflammatory disease where more common causes have been excluded. Investigation should look for evidence of neuro-inflammation, best achieved by contrast-...
