The toll of opioid dependence: A research report on the possible role of Toll-like receptor-4 and related immune markers in opioid dependence
CONCLUSION: The increase in TLR-4 after treatment with BNX may indicate the rescue from nonprescription opioid-induced immunosuppression or the introduction of a novel xenobiotics-associated molecular pattern of BNX.PMID:37485408 | PMC:PMC10358820 | DOI:10.4103/indianjpsychiatry.indianjpsychiatry_314_22

Comparison of extra-peritoneal cesarean section with conventional trans-peritoneal cesarean section: An open label randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSION: Extra-peritoneal cesarean section is associated with better postoperative outcomes with respect to return of bowel functions, pain, and requirement of injectable analgesics and antibiotics than the routine trans-peritoneal cesarean section. However, the significantly higher fetus delivery time questions its feasibility in patients with acute fetal distress. Additionally, it is technically difficult and has a longer learning curve.PMID:37483687 | PMC:PMC10362076 | DOI:10.1016/j.eurox.2023.100212
