Natalizumab Treatment Induces Proinflammatory CD4 T Cells Preferentially in the Integrin {beta}7+ Compartment
Discussion Our study shows that circulating integrin β7+ memory CD4 T cells of patients with relapsing-remitting MS under natalizumab are enriched in proinflammatory cells supporting the hypothesis that integrin β7+ memory CD4 T cells could play a pathogenic role in the disease rebound observed at natalizumab discontinuation.

The effects of cycling on walking outcomes in adults with stroke: a systematic review
CONCLUSION: Considerable heterogeneity was observed across cycling protocols with respect to intensity, frequency, exercise duration and protocol duration. However, none of the studies reported declines in walking outcomes and improvements were measured in the absence of task-specific gait training. Posterior semicircular canal cupulolithiasis during acute pontomedullary demyelination
We describe a woman with MS who developed a sixth nerve palsy and gaze-evoked nystagmus, caused by demyelination near or within areas classically involved in central positional vertigo. However, she also had positional vertigo from coincident BPPV (and not central positional vertigo). This was initially a treatment resistant-posterior semicircular canal cupulolithiasis but it later progressed to a posterior semicircular canal canalolithiasis, with symptoms promptly resolving after a repositioning manoeuvre.PMID:37734945 | DOI:10.1136/pn-2023-003884

Excitability of somatosensory cortex is increased in ALS: A SEP recovery function study
CONCLUSIONS: Our findings demonstrated increased somatosensory cortical excitability in ALS, which was associated with clinical parameters such as reduced pulmonary function and motor strength.SIGNIFICANCE: Somatosensory cortical excitability is impaired in ALS. Motivation-related influences on fNIRS signals during walking exercise: a permutation entropy approach
This study provides early evidence to suggest that while different motivational environments during walking activity influence the magnitude of fNIRS signals, they may not influence the regularity of cortical signals. ConclusionIn MMD hemispheres, the hemodynamic sources of the PSCAs above the SF are more varied than those below the SF and present a typical conversion trend from ICAs to non-ICAs with advancing Suzuki stages. Analyzing the hemodynamic sources of the PSCAs can help in understanding the conversion pattern of compensatory vascular systems, predicting episodes in MMD, and preoperatively evaluating suitable recipient vessel selection for bypass surgery to avoid postoperative CHP.
