3. Robotic Hysterectomy for Cervical Agenesis
We present a patient who is 19yo who presented with primary amenorrhea who was referred with concerns for a rudimentary cervix. She reported monthly cramping since the age of 12 and breast and pubic hair development around age 13. For her primary amenorrhea, she underwent a pelvic ultrasound that showed a 7.9 × 3.1 × 3.5 cm uterus, 6mm endometrial thickness and normal ovaries bilaterally. She was initially diagnosed with a transverse vaginal septum and was started on combination COCs for menstrual suppression which she remained on for 2 years prior to re-presenting after cyclic abdominal pain noted with missed pill doses.
