Hepatic and portal vein transection by vascular stapler in open living donor hepatectomy - A retrospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: The utilization of vascular staplers in donors during open LDLT presents an encouraging alternative to manual over-sewing of vascular stumps. Apart from its timesaving aspect, the technique reduces the potential risk of life-threatening clamp slippage with subsequent uncontrolled blood loss.PMID:35734708 | PMC:PMC9206906 | DOI:10.1016/j.amsu.2022.103823

Vascular Anomalies of the Extrahepatic Artery as a Predictable Risk Factor for Complications After Liver Transplant.
CONCLUSIONS: Unexpectedly, recipients with variations of the hepatic artery and grafts with an abnormal arterial supply did not show higher rates of com-plications or mortality. Only vascular reconstruction of the graft before transplant raised the mortality of recipients. PMID: 30995892 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

An Investigation of the Association Between Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor +405 G/C Polymorphism and Acute Liver Transplant Rejection in Iranian Liver Transplant Recipients
CONCLUSIONS: Our report indicated that there was no association between the carrier states of +405 G/C gene polymorphism of vascular endothelial growth factor and acute rejection or nonrejection of liver transplant.PMID:34269654 | DOI:10.6002/ect.2020.0515
