My nephew in Peru has the hillrom vest 104, and his machine broke! We need to get a replacement ASAP. The universal healthcare there doesn't cover the DME and there are no vest companies near them. Seeking vest model 105
This is perhaps a long shot but I figured I would try. I'm a 32 year old CFer and my current vest(older model..received many years ago) is not quite working anymore and I am much need of a newer one. My insurance has already denied me which puts me in a very bad position. I've tried fighting with them for months but the best they can offer me is one for $16,000. ISO Large vest alone and or Vest with machine
Hello I'm in search of a Large Vest. Also if possible I'm in search of the vest machine. I lost my job a year and a half ago and don't have much money to work with but can get help from family for the shipping as long as its not very expensive. VibraLung Review
I also wanted to share my experience with the VibraLung. Vibralung and Vest
I just wanted to give some advice to those who are interested in the Vibralung. I actually was able to get one this past week and I'm so thrilled. The rep said that it can be done with the vest so I figured I'd try them together. All I can say is, holy mucus batman...I knew I wouldn't sleep through the night due to all the coughing I did. Other Airway Clearance Techniques besides the Vest or actual CPT (Clapping)
Does anyone know of any other airway clearance techniques that are effective besides the huge and heavy Vest system and other than having to rely on another person to do chest physical therapy and also other than the Flutter Valve which is dependent on how the person uses it as to whether it is effective or not? I am unsure that the Vibralung is able to be cleaned properly as the instructions say to use Clorox wipes? I know bacteria have been found in baby wipes and cleaning wipes in the past so I am hesitant to look into it further. Those hospital wipes are $100 a container so I really can't afford those.
