Obinutuzumab, a new anti ‐CD20 antibody, and chlorambucil are active and effective in anti‐myelin‐associated glycoprotein antibody polyneuropathy
ConclusionsIn our patients, obinutuzumab was effective as a first ‐line treatment of anti‐MAG antibody polyneuropathy. CLL might have had a role in the response to therapy, but the associations might be considered in future trials. (Source: European Journal of Neurology)

Safety of urgent endarterectomy in acute non ‐disabling stroke patients with symptomatic carotid artery stenosis: an international multicenter study
ConclusionsOur findings highlight that urgent CEA performed within two days from the index event is related to a non ‐significant increase in the risk of peri‐procedural stroke. The safety of urgent CEA requires further evaluation in larger datasets. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. (Source: European Journal of Neurology)

High ‐frequency rTMS and iTBS for spasticity management in secondary‐progressive multiple sclerosis
ConclusionsThe results show that HF ‐rTMS and iTBS significantly reduce spasticity measured by MAS, in contrast to sham stimulation. Some evidence was found in favor of a longer‐lasting effect of iTBS on SESS, and of a reduction in pain and fatigue after HF‐rTMS.This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. “Stroke‐like” events after brain radiotherapy: a large series with long‐term follow‐up
Conclusions“Stroke‐like” events related to brain irradiation may be associated with permanent sequelae. Steroids are often administered on empirical grounds, as they are thought to accelerate recovery. Relapses are common, highlighting the need to elaborate adequate prevention strategies. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved. (Source: European Journal of Neurology)

Acute ischemic lesions are associated with cortical superficial siderosis in spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage
ConclusionsDWI lesions are more frequently observed in patients with acute lobar ICH than in those with deep ICH. cSS severity and WMH extent are independent predictors for the presence of DWI lesions, suggesting that CAA may be involved in the pathogenesis of DWI lesions associated with acute ICH.This article is protected by copyright. Levodopa/carbidopa intestinal gel infusion and weight loss in Parkinson's disease
ConclusionsWeight loss may occur in patients with PD undergoing LCIG in correlation with the percentage of the waking day spent with dyskinesia. Regardless of the extent of WL, the nutritional status correlated with higher LEDD, as well as with indices of disease progression, such as motor symptom severity and dysphagia. A cost –utility analysis of decompressive hemicraniectomy versus medical treatment in the management of space‐occupying brain oedema post middle cerebral artery infarction
DiscussionThis is above the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) ‘cost‐effective’ threshold of £20 000–£30 000 per QALY, but lower mortality rates associated with the surgical alternative raises ethical considerations for healthcare providers in the UK. Diagnostic usefulness of plexus MRI in chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculopathy without electrodiagnostic criteria of demyelination
ConclusionsOur observations suggest that plexus MRI makes a valuable contribution to the diagnosis of CIDP ‐ND patients. Further studies are needed to investigate inter‐rater reliability of clinical and imaging criteria of CIDP in these patients, and the impact on outcomes. This article is protected by copyright.
