Reparative dentin formation following dental pulp capping is mediated by TNFR1 in vivo
TNF- α is a pro-inflammatory cytokine that promotes biomineralization in vitro in dental pulp cells. However, the role of TNF-α-TNFR1 signaling in reparative dentin formation and related inflammatory pathways is not known. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the role of the TNF-α-TNFR1 ax is in dental pulp repair following pulp capping in vivo. (Source: Journal of Endodontics)

Prevalence of Teaching Apical Patency and Various Instrumentation and Obturation Techniques in United States Dental schools: Two Decades Later
Maintaining apical patency has been advocated to minimize canal transportation, ledge formation, and loss of working length, despite increasing debris extrusion. A previous study in 1997 by Cailleteau reported 50% of U.S. dental schools taught patency. This present study aimed to evaluate recent trends in endodontic education in U.S. dental schools, in relation to the prevalence of maintaining apical patency and examining the primary methods of working length determination, instrumentation, obturation, and temporization. Assessment of the Prevalence of Radix Entomolaris and Distolingual Canal in Mandibular First Molars in 15 countries: A multinational cross-sectional study with meta-analysis
The aim of this study was two-folded: i) to assess the prevalence of Distolingual Canal (DLC) and Radix Entomolaris (RE) in Mandibular First Molars (M1Ms), using CBCT images, and ii) to assess the impact of sociodemographic factors on the prevalence of these conditions worldwide.
