ATLANTA - A federal judge on Aug. 15 affirmed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's 2004 finding that ephedra dietary supplements are "adulterated," thereby granting summary judgment for the government in Hi-Tech Pharmaceutical's challenge to the final rule banning the supplements (Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, et al. v. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - A state appellate court in an Aug. 29 opinion reversed dismissal of one ephedra case in a consolidated appeal, ruling that the motion to dismiss was untimely, but affirmed dismissal of the other under forum non conveniens (Gerri Lynn Fihe, et al., and Julie Louise Jamieson, et al. v.
