This patient was a 66-year-old female who came to the ER complaining of
right lower quadrant pain. She had no known history of Crohn disease. A CT
scan was performed using positive oral contrast (Fig. 1). Changes of Crohn
disease were seen in the distal ileum (arrow). Though the study was diagnostic of Crohn disease, there was no way to assess disease activity.
