Immunohistological characteristics of nasal polyps. A comparison with healthy mucosa and chronic sinusitis.

Mean numbers of plasma- and mast cells were not different in the various groups. Immunoglobulin isotypes were always predominantly IgA and IgM; IgE were scarce.
