Sciton announced the pending availability of the new Contour Tunable Resurfacing Laser (TRL) this fall. The TRL is a significant improvement of the Contour dual-pulse mode laser from Sciton, Inc. (Palo Alto, Calif.) with the ability to precisely adjust ablative depth and thermal coagulation depth for emulating any ablative or nonablative laser on the market. "This system eliminates the need for all existing single modality lasers and for the first time will allow doctors to titrate the precise amount of ablation and coagulation needed for each area treated".

Sciton, the leader in resurfacing laser technologies, announced a significant step in the development of fractional laser treatment with its new ProFractional technology.
