COVID-19 fear, vaccination hesitancy, and vaccination status in pregnant and breastfeeding women in Turkey
This study aimed to determine the level of COVID-19 fear, vaccination, and vaccination hesitancy as well as the affecting factors in pregnant and breastfeeding women who participated in an online prenatal education in Turkey. The study, which was designed as descriptive cross-sectional, was conducted online with 360 pregnant and breastfeeding women from Istanbul. Measures adopted by indigent mothers in Kilifi County to tackle maternal health challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic: A qualitative study
This study shows that urgent measures are needed to provide high quality maternal and child health services during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The effectiveness of an interactive digital-based educational program in improving breastfeeding knowledge, attitudes and self-efficacy among primiparous women in Egypt
In conclusion, the interactive digital-based educational program about breastfeeding was suggested to be effective in enhancing the knowledge, attitude and self-efficacy of the primiparous women, in combination with other health education activities. Hierarchical modelling of factors associated with anaemia among under-five children in Nigeria
This study used a nationally representative cross-sectional data from 2018 Nigeria Demographic Health Survey (NDHS) to investigate the prevalence and factors associated with anaemia in children aged less than five years in Nigeria. Anaemia was defined as haemoglobin level <11.0g/dl, while explanatory variables included parental profile, social and environmental factors. Prevalence and predictive factors for early initiation of breastfeeding in Nigeria: Evidence from the Nigerian demographic and health survey (2003-2018)
This study examined the prevalence and the factors associated with EIBF among nursing mothers in Nigeria based on an analysis of the 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018 Nigerian Demographic Health Survey (NDHS) data. The prevalence of early breastfeeding initiation by women's demographic, socio-economic and reproductive characteristics were computed for each of the survey rounds.
