MR elastography (MRE) is an effective technique for noninvasive monitoring of liver stiffness -- a surrogate for fibrosis -- in children and young adults with autoimmune liver disease, researchers have reported. Ultrasound model predicts liver disease progress
A predictive model combining multiple ultrasonic parameters could discriminate between different liver diseases in a study published March 19 in Radiology.
