In Vitro Study of Leishmanicidal Activity of Biogenic Selenium Nanoparticles against Iranian Isolate of Sensitive and Glucantime-Resistant Leishmania tropica.
CONCLUSION: The findings of this study suggest a first step in the search of Se NPs as a new antileishmanial agent. Further experiments are needed to investigate antileishmanial effects of biogenic Se NPs on L. tropica using a clinical setting. PMID: 25759725 [PubMed]

Investigating the Possibility of Green Synthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using < em > Vaccinium arctostaphlyos < /em > Extract and Evaluating Its Antibacterial Properties
CONCLUSION: The synthesized nanoparticles showed more antibacterial properties against gram-positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) than gram-negative ones (Escherichia coli and Salmonella enteritidis).PMID:33997013 | PMC:PMC8110411 | DOI:10.1155/2021/5572252

Investigation the effects of silver nanoparticles and gold nanoparticles on expression of < em > bap < /em > and < em > csu < /em > genes in biofilm formation of < em > Acinetobacter baumannii < /em >
CONCLUSION: Due to the inhibitory effect of silver nanoparticles and gold-vancomycin nanoparticles against A. baumannii biofilm formation and genes expression, they can probably be used for prevent of biofilm formation in medical instrument or can be use for treatment of infections with or without antibiotic.PMID:36721500 | PMC:PMC9867630 | DOI:10.18502/ijm.v14i4.10237
