2nd person dies from TB linked with bone matrix lot
 LEADING THE NEWSThe Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that a second person has died as a result of tuberculosis associated with FiberCel Fiber Viable Bone Matrix manufactured by Aziyo Biologics. Thirty-six people had dental or medical procedures that used this product lot, and CDC and Food and Drug Administration officials are working with health agencies and affected medical facilities to help ensure patients are evaluated and treated. Full Story: ADA News (8/25)

Detection of the pathological exposure of pulp using an artificial intelligence tool: a multicentric study over periapical radiographs
ConclusionsThe designed MSc tool proved itself reliable in the detection and differentiating between exposed and unexposed pulp in the internally validated model. It also showed a better performance for the detection of exposed and unexposed pulp when compared to the 10 dentists ’ consensus.
