The impact of COVID-19 anxiety on eating disorders in medical and Master's students
CONCLUSIONS: We presented a detailed account of effects of scales and parameters related to the COVID-19 process on eating disorders and weight change in a specific population. These effects show both anxiety scores related to COVID-19 and eating disorders on various aspects and identify various variables influencing these scales in the main groups and subgroups.PMID:36808366 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202302_31224

Diet quality and eating patterns in euthymic bipolar patients.
CONCLUSIONS: In our work, euthymic bipolar patients showed unhealthy dietary patterns and had lower adherence to the Mediterranean diet than the controls. Increased values of insulin resistance indicators in the BD group point to the necessity of monitoring glucose and triglycerides levels and measurement of waist circumference in bipolar patients in the routine clinical practice. The cooperation between psychiatrists, dieticians and other medical professionals are necessary to develop dietary recommendations for patients with bipolar disorder. Attitude and perceptions of older and younger adults towards ambient technology for assisted living
CONCLUSIONS: Both older and younger adults perceive ambient technology for assisted living as a promising solution to enable older adults' at-home independence.
