£ 100,000 project will see AI used to speed up ADHD diagnosis in adults
(University of Huddersfield) Over 1.5 million UK adults have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) leading to a wide range of difficulties, jeopardizing careers and relationships and due to everyday demands on the NHS, ADHD diagnosis among adults is a slow process. Now, the University of Huddersfield is working with the South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and is using artificial intelligence to speed up diagnosis.
