Prevalence of postpartum major depression and depressive symptoms in Spanish women: A longitudinal study up to 1 year postpartum
CONCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE: The clinical relevance of this research is that it has made it possible to demonstrate that depression is very prevalent in the first year postpartum and that, far from subsiding, the prevalence remains very high even at 1 year postpartum. Our findings highlight the importance of taking mental health care into account throughout at least the first year postpartum.PMID:37672853 | DOI:10.1016/j.midw.2023.103808

Cool Kids: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in a Spanish Sample of Children and Adolescents with Anxiety Disorders
This study analyzes the effectiveness of CK in a clinical cohort of Spanish children and adolescents with ADs. CK was offered to 57 patients with AD and their caregivers at the Hospital Clínic, Barcelona. In all global registered measures, the results demonstrated a reduction of symptoms and their interference in daily functioning. Moreover, a significant improvement was observed in participants who completed more sessions. Thus, CK reduced the severity of anxiety and its interference over individual and family functioning.PMID:37672194 | DOI:10.1007/s10578-023-01579-w

Lipid profile changes associated with antiretroviral therapies in a real-world cohort
CONCLUSIONS: The lipid profile among elvitegravir/cobicistat/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide fumarate group worsened throughout the follow-up, both in naïve and experienced patients, not so remarkable in the dolutegravir/abacavir/lamivudine group. Both regimens were well tolerated, with similar rates of cardiovascular events.PMID:37673703 | DOI:10.1016/j.farma.2023.07.005
