Oral manifestations, risk factors and management strategies of COVID-19 associated mucormycosis in tertiary care hospital
Conclusions: Mucormycosis can cause serious oro-facial morbidity and mortality in COVID-19 patients. The current management strategy requires early diagnosis, prompt treatment and oral rehabilitation.

A case of emphysematous pyelonephritis in an older man with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus
We present the case of a 75-year-old man who was diagnosed early with EPN and received multidisciplinary treatment. He had poorly controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and chronic kidney disease (CKD), and was treated with oral hypoglycemic drugs, including a sodium –glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitor. Association of participants who screened positive for night eating syndrome with physical health, sleep problems, and weight status in an Australian adult population
CONCLUSIONS: Several physical health problems were found to be significantly associated with the spNES group including sleep problems, increased BMI, increased levels of pain and lower self-reported physical health-related quality of life. Consequently, future research exploring the complex interaction between NES and these medical conditions may provide further insight into the diagnosis, screening tools and management of NES. Is low-dose naltrexone effective in chronic pain management?

Low-dose naltrexone is as effective as amitriptyline in the treatment of painful diabetic neuropathy and has a superior safety profile (strength of recommendation [SOR], B; single randomized controlled trial [RCT]). Low-dose naltrexone significantly reduced pain by 32% in inflammatory conditions and 44% in neuropathic conditions (SOR, B; single retrospective cohort study). Transient left bundle branch block associated with very high coronary artery calcium: a case report
We present a case of very high CAC in a 64-year-old woman with hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and hyperlipidemia presenting with dyspnea. Initial electrocardiogram (ECG) demonstrated normal conduction with a heart rate of 76 beats/min, but new T-wave inversions in V1-V4 and a high-sensitivity troponin-I (hsTnI) value of 6 ng/L (normal < 6 ng/L).
