Meta ‐analysis of the efficacy and safety of arthroscopic surgery associated with platelet‐rich plasma infusion when treating knee osteoarthritis
ConclusionArthroscopic debridement associated with PRP is more successful in relieving knee pain and enhancing knee joint function than arthroscopic debridement in treating KOA. The treatment scheme deserves to be popularized in clinical practice, but further research and longer interventions will be needed to validate it, using high-quality methods.

Editorial Commentary: Superior Capsular Reconstruction Is the Treatment of Choice for Massive, Irreparable Rotator Cuff Tears With Pseudoparalysis
The ideal treatment approach to massive, irreparable rotator cuff tears remains a hot topic of debate. In addition to joint-preserving methods including partial repair and subacromial spacer, techniques such as superior capsular reconstruction and tendon transfers are viable alternatives. These techniques are effective in providing pain relief and —to an extent—functionality during short-term follow-up; however, superior capsular reconstruction (SCR) appears to be the treatment of choice to address the pseudoparalysis. The relatively lower success rates of pseudoparalysis treatment in tendon transfers may be related to ...

Effect of local anesthetic volume (20 vs. 40 ml) on the analgesic efficacy of costoclavicular block in arthroscopic shoulder surgery: a randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSION: Using 40 ml of local anesthetic does not guarantee supraclavicular spread during CCB. Moreover, it does not result in a higher rate of complete analgesia compared to using 20 ml of local anesthetic in arthroscopic shoulder surgery.PMID:37679899 | DOI:10.4097/kja.23260

Arthroscopic superior capsular reconstruction versus reverse shoulder arthroplasty in patients with massive irreparable rotator cuff tears: A comparative clinical study
CONCLUSION: This study has shown that superior capsular reconstruction with tensor fascia latae autograft can provide clinical and func- tional improvement similar to the reverse shoulder arthroplasty procedure in treating massive irreparable rotator cuff tears with Hamada grade 1-2 arthropathy.LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: Level III, Therapeutic Study.PMID:37670450 | DOI:10.5152/j.aott.2023.23049
