A case of emphysematous pyelonephritis in an older man with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus
We present the case of a 75-year-old man who was diagnosed early with EPN and received multidisciplinary treatment. He had poorly controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and chronic kidney disease (CKD), and was treated with oral hypoglycemic drugs, including a sodium –glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitor. An unusual cause of abdominal pain in an older woman
We report an elderly woman who was diagnosed as toothpick penetrated the jejunal wall and successfully retrieval under DBE. To our best knowledge, there is currently only one report of removing toothpick from the small intestine using DBE. Coexistence of small bowel gastrointestinal stromal tumor, small bowel adenocarcinoma, and ganglioneuroma in a patient with neurofibromatosis type I and caused intussusception
We report a synchronous case of small bowel gastrointestinal stromal tumor, small bowel adenocarcinoma, and ganglioneuroma complicated by intussusception in an old woman with NF-I. The patient presented with a 2-month history of abdominal pain and multiple neurofibromas and café au lait macules was found all over the patient's body. Intussusception as a complication of idiopathic nephrotic syndrome
A 19-year-old male patient presented with abdominal pain associated with a relapse of minimal change disease (serum creatinine: 90 μmol/l; albumin: 1.6 g/dl; proteinuria: 7.8 g/g). A right iliac fossa ileo–ileal intussusception was found on the computed tomography (CT) scan (Figure 1). The pain subsided with administration of paracetamol but recurred 2 days later. A second CT scan showed 2 other right lumbar jejuno–jejuna l intussusceptions, and 1 upper-left-quadrant ileo–ileal intussusception, but the right iliac fossa ileo–ileal intussusception was no longer visible (Figure 2).

Synchronous rectal adenocarcinoma and intestinal mantle cell lymphoma: A case report
CONCLUSION: Synchronous rectal adenocarcinoma and intestinal MCL presenting as multiple lymphomatous polyposis are extremely rare. Twists and turns: A case report of cecal volvulus
We present a case of a 22-year-old male presenting in the emergency room with colicky abdominal pain, vomiting, and abdominal distension for which an early computed tomography scan was done and diagnosed as cecal volvulus. Following diagnosis case was managed promptly by laparotomy with right hemicolectomy and primary anastomosis.

CONCLUSION: Adhesive SBO due to congenital bands is a rare condition, particularly in adults, with potentially lifethreatening complications. Transient left bundle branch block associated with very high coronary artery calcium: a case report
We present a case of very high CAC in a 64-year-old woman with hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and hyperlipidemia presenting with dyspnea. Initial electrocardiogram (ECG) demonstrated normal conduction with a heart rate of 76 beats/min, but new T-wave inversions in V1-V4 and a high-sensitivity troponin-I (hsTnI) value of 6 ng/L (normal < 6 ng/L).
