Somatic characteristics and motor fitness of elite and sub-elite Polish male badminton players.
CONCLUSIONS: Relatively small body size of badminton players can be considered advantageous in sport competitions. It also seems that aerobic capacity contributes to achieving sport success in badminton to a much lower degree than the badminton-specific on- court skills. Effect of high- and low-resistance inspiratory muscle training on physiological response to exercise in cross-country skiers.
CONCLUSIONS: During a short training period (up to 7 weeks), the use of gradual and constant inspiratory resistance during RMT improves exercise and spirometric parameters in a similar way. Causes and differentiation of injuries depending on the positions taken on the pitch among American Football players in Poland.
CONCLUSIONS: Occurrence and type of injuries in AF players does not depend on position on the pitch in AF. Relationship between the injury location or injury circumstances and position on the pitch requires further studies. The most common location of injury is the knee joint and the most common type of injury is sprain while the most common causes of injury were collision with opponent and direct sport fight. Dental trauma, prevention and knowledge concerning dental first-aid among Polish amateur boxers
Conclusions: To improve knowledge regarding dental trauma in the boxing environment it is essential to emphasize the need for an extensive educational campaign. Preventive measures, especially in the form of good custom-made mouthguards, should be mandatory for all active individuals participating in contact sports.

CONCLUSIONS: The prevalence of limb injuries in obstacle course racing is elevated and it is desirable to be reduced by establishment and elimination above mentioned risk factors.
