Optical coherence tomography angiography as a  future diagnostic tool in sports medicine?
CONCLUSION: Differences were found in the OCTA measurements of the FAZ depending on the individual physical fitness. Performing HIIT can induce significant changes in certain OCTA parameters. Acute and chronic effects of soccer game on the retinal vessel diameters in middle-aged adults.
CONCLUSIONS: In middle-aged amateur soccer players, improvement of the retinal microcirculation was observed. Cardiovascular risk factors and physical inactivity were associated with adverse retinal microvascular alterations. Oxidative stress, lipid peroxidation indexes and antioxidant vitamins in long and middle distance athletes during a sport season.

Doubles trouble-85 cases of ocular trauma in badminton: clinical features and prevention.
CONCLUSION: The vast majority of the badminton related eye injuries occurred among doubles players and were instigated by the injured person's partner. Non-penetrating injury was more frequent; penetrating injury was usually more serious. We recommend that badminton players use protective eyewear and receive safety education and professional coaching/instruction on techniques to protect against serious eye injuries. Acute effects of high-intensity interval training on cognition and retinal microcirculation in experienced amateur boxers.

The effect of combined exercises on the plasma levels of retinol-binding protein 4 and its relationship with insulin resistance and hepatic fat content in postmenopausal women with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease
CONCLUSIONS: Combined exercises significantly reduced serum levels of RBP4 in postmenopausal women with fatty liver. A Traditional Chinese Patent Medicine ZQMT for Neovascular Age-Related Macular Degeneration: a multicenter randomized clinical trial.
CONCLUSION: The combinatory therapy of ranibizumab and traditional Chinese patent medicine ZQMT had equivalent effects on visual acuity improvement and safety profiles as the ranibizumab treatment alone. Ranibizumab injections coupled with ZQMT offer therapeutic advantages in terms of reduction of retinal lesions and eases the financial burden of patients undergoing treatment by reducing the frequency of necessary ranibizumab injections. A Narrative Review of Common Uses of Ophthalmic Ultrasound in Emergency Medicine
The timely evaluation of ocular conditions in the emergency department (ED) can be difficult due to a general lack of specialized equipment, trained personnel, and the time-sensitive nature of emergent ocular conditions. Recently, the use of ocular point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) has been shown to be particularly useful in the ED. POCUS can be used to promptly diagnose various ocular pathologies, which include ocular trauma, vitreous hemorrhage, central retinal artery occlusion, and retinal detachment.
