Comprehensive conservative treatment for multiple metastases of skull osteosarcoma: A case report
ConclusionWe found that multiple conservative treatments, which include Denosumab, Anlotinib and DIA chemotherapy, can improve patients' life quality, and help avoid further osteolytic destruction for patients with skull osteosarcoma and multiple metastases. Its specific mechanism and scope of the application still need to be further studied.

Transformation of Cemento-Ossifying Fibroma into Osteosarcoma after Radiotherapy and Nine Endoscopic Surgeries
We present a case of COF involving a 58-year-old woman whose initial symptom was hearing loss in the right ear accompanied by tinnitus. Enhanced magnetic resonance imaging revealed a 3.1 cm x 3.2 cm mass centered on the right pterygoid process of the sphenoid bone. Postoperative pathology revealed a COF with a high Ki-67 index (8%-10%). Over the next two years, the tumor relapsed repeatedly. The patient underwent nine endoscopic surgeries and radiotherapy. The sixth postoperative biopsy showed that the COF had transformed into an osteosarcoma. The patient subsequently experienced respiratory and cardiac arrests and was rec...

Medical interventions for the prevention of platinum-induced hearing loss in children with cancer.
CONCLUSIONS: At the moment there is no evidence from individual studies in children with osteosarcoma or hepatoblastoma treated with different platinum analogues and dosage schedules that underscores the use of amifostine as an otoprotective intervention as compared to no additional treatment. Since pooling of results was not possible and the evidence was of low certainty, no definitive conclusions can be made. Since we found only one RCT evaluating the use of sodium thiosulfate in children with localized hepatoblastoma treated with cisplatin, no definitive conclusions on benefits and harms can be drawn. It should be noted...

Pantoprazole, an Inhibitor of the Organic Cation Transporter 2, Does Not Ameliorate Cisplatin‐Related Ototoxicity or Nephrotoxicity in Children and Adolescents with Newly Diagnosed Osteosarcoma Treated with Methotrexate, Doxorubicin, and Cisplatin
Conclusion.Pantoprazole did not ameliorate cisplatin ototoxicity or nephrotoxicity. The decrease in GFRcysC and increase in N‐acetyl‐ß‐glucosaminidase (NAG) and creatinine demonstrate that these biomarkers can quantify cisplatin glomerular and proximal tubular toxicity. OCT2 inhibition by pantoprazole did not appear to alter antitumor response or survival.
