Conclusion PT with a suspected vascular cause is most often attributable to venous etiologies. PT caused by arteriovenous shunting or venous sinus stenosis may be effectively treated endovascularly.

Noise Exposure in Palestinian Workers Without a Diagnosis of Hearing Impairment: Relations to Speech-Perception-in-Noise Difficulties, Tinnitus, and Hyperacusis
CONCLUSIONS: Workers in Palestine may suffer from auditory effects of occupational noise and aging despite no formal diagnosis. Intraoperative Use of Electrical Stapedius Reflex Testing for Cochlear Nerve Monitoring During Simultaneous Translabyrinthine Resection of Vestibular Schwannoma and Cochlear Implantation
Conclusion: The current study demonstrates the feasibility of using intraoperative eSR via a CI electrode to monitor cochlear nerve integrity during VS resection, which may indicate successful CI outcomes. These preliminary findings require further substantiation in a larger study.

A Case–Case Analysis of Intralabyrinthine Schwannoma Versus Intracanalicular Vestibular Schwannoma
Conclusion: Intralabyrinthine schwannomas differ from intracanalicular schwannomas in the severity of hearing loss at presentation. Otherwise, these two tumors present in a very similar fashion—age at presentation, presenting signs and symptoms—and are treated comparably. Otolaryngologists should maintain a high degree of suspicion for ILS in patients presenting with an asymmetric hearing loss, vertigo, and tinnitus.

Worldwide Tinnitus Research: A Bibliometric Analysis of the Published Literature Between 2001 and 2020
ConclusionIn the past 20 years, academic understanding of tinnitus has improved considerably. This study provides an objective, systematic, and comprehensive analysis of tinnitus-related literature. Furthermore, current hot spots and prospective trends in the field of tinnitus were identified. These results will assist otolaryngologists and audiologists in identifying the evolving dynamics of tinnitus research and highlight areas for prospective research.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Patients With Hearing Implants – Follow-up on Prevalence and Complications
Conclusions: Our data indicate that patients undergoing hearing implant surgery need better information about the limitations and requirements of MRI. The occurrence of side effects is likely as only half of the patients in our study group were completely free of symptoms. Dislocation of the implant magnet was observed in several cases, hence patients and physicians need to be educated about this potential complication.

A Case of Incus Necrosis Following Oral and Intratympanic Steroid Administration for Sensorineural Hearing Loss
Conclusion: We report the first case of possible steroid-induced necrosis of the long process of the incus. Owing to its tenuous blood supply, the incus may be predisposed to steroid-induced osteonecrosis similar to that of the femoral head.
