Frequency and Management of Adverse Drug Reactions Among Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis Patients: Analysis From a Prospective Study
Conclusion: The frequency of ADRs was high among the study cohort; however, these were managed effectively. Patients with recognized risk factors for ADRs occurrence need continuous clinical management efforts.

Cycloserine Induced Suicidal Tendencies and Kanamycin Induced Ototoxicity in Indian MDR-TB Patient: A Case Report.
We present a case report on Cycloserine induced Suicidal tendencies and Kanamycin induced decrease in hearing sensation in Indian MDR-TB patient. CASE REPORT: A 55-year-old male patient who was diagnosed with MDR-TB was prescribed with category IV anti-tubercular therapy. Within one month of initiation of therapy, he developed repeated suicidal thoughts, joint pain, restlessness, depression, constipation, insomnia, tinnitus and a decrease in hearing sensation. The importance of audiometric monitoring in patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis
CONCLUSIONS: Evaluations of ototoxicity symptoms were not usually reported in the routine care of patients with MDR-TB. Complaints of tinnitus were associated with amikacin and streptomycin use. These results require confirmation in future studies.

Bedaquiline in the multidrug-resistant tuberculosis treatment: Belarus experience
Conclusion Our interim results on safety and effectiveness of bedaquiline-containing regimens in multidrug and extensively drug-resistant tuberculosis (M/XDR-TB) patients are encouraging. They will add value to understanding role and place of this new anti-TB drug in M/XDR-TB treatment.

Differences in VigiBase ® reporting of aminoglycoside and capreomycin‐suspected ototoxicity during tuberculosis treatment
ConclusionSpontaneous reporting of deafness cases within VigiBase® was most disproportionately associated with amikacin use, followed by kanamycin. Conclusion This case reminds us that correct diagnosis of tuberculosis remains a serious problem despite the long experience and the development of diagnostics and treatment methods. Nowadays we observe the unusual clinical manifestations of the disease (e.g. such as ear pain, tinnitus, rapid hearing loss) more frequently.
