Children's Mercy brings anesthesia operations in-house
Children ’s Mercy will take over anesthesia and critical care work that had been provided by a contractor. The Hospital terminated contracts with Anesthesia Associates of Kansas City P.C. for the services, effective Jan. 31, according to a WARN Act filing by AAKC. The Overland Park-based practice provides anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, anesthesiologist assistants, pediatric intensivists and pain management physicians, according to its website.
