Daily News fund for family of EMT Yadira Arroyo rises to $110G
Love and money continue to pour in to honor slain FDNY emergency medical technician Yadira Arroyo. The Daily News fund to assist her family grew Thursday to $110,586, including The News’ initial $10,000 donation. All donations go to Arroyo’s kids through the FDNY Foundation. Arroyo, 44, died March 16 when a mentally disturbed man stole her ambulance and ran her down with the vehicle. 1 Injured in San Diego Cannabis Oil Explosion
  SAN DIEGO (FOX 5 News) -- A person was seriously injured in an explosion during an apparent cannabis oil extraction operation at a South Bay home, an officer said Sunday. Police and paramedics were called around 7:30 p.m. to a house on Leider Drive near Green Bay Street, in Egger Highlands, according to San Diego police Officer Sarah Foster. FDNY EMT Arroyo's Alleged Killer Again Deemed Unfit for Trial
  NEW YORK CITY (NEWS 12 The Bronx) - A court-appointed psychologist has found Jose Gonzalez unfit to stand trial in the death of FDNY EMT Yadira Arroyo. Gonzalez, who is charged with first-degree murder, is accused of carjacking Arroyo's ambulance and running her over with it. She was a mother to five children. Since the March 2017 incident, Gonzalez has been evaluated twice by two court-appointed psychologists who found him not suitable to stand trial. Read more at News 12 The Bronx.
