Is diagnostic laparoscopy necessary in the management of left thoracoabdominal stab wounds?

Trauma in pregnancy: An analysis of the adverse perinatal outcomes and the injury severity score
CONCLUSION: Compared to the general population, the rates of preterm premature rupture of membranes-premature rupture of membranes, fetal death, fetal distress, cesarean delivery, placental abruption, and preterm delivery increased in traumatized pregnant women. Research of Importance of Thiol, CRP and Lactate in Diagnosing Mesenteric Ischemia At An Early Stage: Animal Model
CONCLUSION: Although CRP is a non-specific parameter in the early diagnosis of acute mesenteric ischemia, lactate maintains its importance as seen in our study. Differences in total thiol and native thiol changes were statistically significant. The fact that this significant difference is observed at the 4th hour values, reveals the importance of these parameters in early diagnosis. Thanks to the economic and fast results of thiol parameters, it is thought that new studies to be added to the literature can lead to the diagnosis of mesenteric ischemia.PMID:37681723 | DOI:10.14744/tjtes.2023.45234

Validity of Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection for Gastric Cancer Diagnosed as Differentiated Adenocarcinoma Before Treatment Regardless of Lesion Size
CONCLUSION: Even with a tumor diameter ≥31 mm, curative resection was achieved in about 60% of cases in which intramucosal lesions were considered possible preoperatively, but the rate was low at 8.3% for tumor diameter ≥101 mm. CONCLUSIONS: Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration for duodenal subepithelial lesions with hypoechoic mass was safe and accurate.
