CNS Neurol Disord Drug Targets. 2023 May 22. doi: 10.2174/1871527322666230522105931. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTThe capacity of animals to react to unpleasant stimuli that might endanger their integrity is known as nociception. Auriculotherapy in prevention of migraine attacks: an open randomized trial
Use of auriculotherapy to prevent episodic migraine pain has seldom been reported. The aim of this open study was to show that three sessions of auriculotherapy, 1 month apart, using semi-permanent needles decrease frequency and intensity of an attack in patients presenting episodic migraine. A total of 90 patients were randomized to the treatment group (AUR group, n = 58) or the control group (C group, n = 32). Four patients dropped out during the study (three in the AUR group and one in the C group). The number of days with migraine and non-migraine headache was similar when the analysis focused on the 3 months o...

The Efficacy of Different Triptans for the Treatment of Acute Headache in Pediatric Migraine: A Systematic Review
CONCLUSION: We found that rizatriptan (good tolerability profile with a dose of 5 mg) and sumatriptan (oral administration) had higher efficiency as compared to other triptans. Regardless of type or dose, all triptans are generally well tolerated by patients, but a few adverse effects such as light-headedness (sumatriptan), nasopharyngitis, and, muscular spasms (sumatriptan/ naproxen), somnolence, and dry mouth (rizatriptan), and dizziness (zolmitriptan group) were reported with the triptans.PMID:37209053

In fact, researchers found that the deeper your wrinkles during the first years of menopause, the lower your bone density will be — and the greater your risk of osteoporosis.1 So what’s the connection between deep wrinkles and low bone density? It’s oxygen. You know that after you work out, your skin is flushed. That’s a health...
