Elevated tacrolimus levels among COVID-19 kidney transplant recipients are associated with worse disease severity and clinical outcomes
CONCLUSION: Elevated tacrolimus levels occur in many renal transplant recipients with moderate to severe COVID-19 and are associated with worse clinical outcomes. Close drug monitoring is crucial to avoid toxicities and minimize over-immunosuppression complications.PMID:37675489 | DOI:10.5414/CN111137

Renal transplant waiting list mortality in COVID era: is it advisable to halt transplant activity?
CONCLUSION: The probability of death of a patient with ESRD with delayed follow-up visits and transplant retention is statistically higher than the probability of death from COVID-19.PMID:37677955 | DOI:10.24875/CIRU.21000718

Early prediction of growth patterns after pediatric kidney transplantation based on height-related single-nucleotide polymorphisms
CONCLUSIONS: A model with good performance for predicting post-transplant growth patterns in children based on SNPs and clinical variables was constructed and validated using machine learning algorithms. The model is expected to guide clinicians in the management of children after renal transplantation, including the use of growth hormone, glucocorticoid withdrawal, and nutritional supplementation, to alleviate growth retardation in children with ESRD.PMID:37672508 | DOI:10.1097/CM9.0000000000002828
