Continued challenges in pediatric anesthesia during COVID-19 in 2022: An international survey from the pediatric anesthesia COVID-19 collaborative
CONCLUSION: Our study found that COVID-19 has continued to impact pediatric anesthesiology. There are major discrepancies between what anesthesiologists believe are important for job satisfaction and faculty retention compared to implemented initiatives. Ollier Disease: A Case Report and Review of Treatment Options
In this report, we describe the case of an 11-year-old female who presented to her physician with pain and swelling of her right ring and small fingers after playing in a swimming pool with no obvious mechanism of trauma. A routine, plain radiographic evaluation of her hand revealed the presence of multiple enchondromatosis. Differences in strength and fatigue resistance of scapular protractors and retractors between symptomatic and asymptomatic dyskinesis
CONCLUSIONS: Scapular dyskinesis is characterized by weaker scapular protractors and reduced agonist/antagonist ratios, especially when symptomatic. The Efficacy of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Approaches in Chronic Migraine: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
CONCLUSIONS: A limited number of RCTs investigating the efficacy of physical therapy and rehabilitation approaches show promise in improving headache symptoms, reducing disability, and enhancing QoL in CM. Meta-analysis of the data also supported favorable outcomes for both intensity and headache days per month. Comparison of the efficacy of genicular nerve phenol neurolysis and radiofrequency ablation for pain management in patients with knee osteoarthritis
CONCLUSIONS: : Neurolysis of the genicular nerves with both RFA and phenol is effective in the management of KOA pain. Phenol may be a good alternative to RFA.
