Transcriptional regulation of the Japanese flounder Cu,Zn-SOD (Jfsod1) gene in RAW264.7 cells during oxidative stress caused by causative bacteria of edwardsiellosis
In this study, NUF251 stimulated intracellular superoxide radical production in mouse macrophage RAW264.7 cells, which was reduced by N-acetylcysteine. This result suggests that NUF251 infection causes oxidative stress. Assessment of Diagnosis Timing of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in Working-Age Workers with Psychiatric Diseases Using Large Claims Data
This study aims to clarify the timing of diagnosis of ADHD in working-age workers with psychiatric comorbidities using large claims data in Japan. Based on a literature survey, we identified 10 typical comorbidities of ADHD. Outcomes of Pain Management Training for the Fourth- and Fifth-Year Medical Students
In this study, we assessed students' understanding of pain management based on the results of pretests and posttests performed before and after their practicum. These tests were administered from November 2019 to April 2022 to 263 fourth- and fifth-year medical students who took the clinical pain study class. The test results were compared in terms of the percentage of correct answers and the total score for each question using McNemar's chi-square test and paired t-tests, respectively. Investigating the seasonal variation of heart failure hospitalizations and in-hospital mortality risks in Japan using a nationwide database

Effect of a Family Pharmacist System on Medication Adherence of Patients with Dyslipidemia during a COVID-19 Epidemic

Descriptive Study on a Nationwide Exploratory Questionnaire Survey of Emergency Contraceptive Pills and Their Sexual History and Knowledge in Japan
This study showed that approximately half of participants may not have correct knowledge of emergency contraceptives. In addition, approximately half of sexually active participants are facing unintended pregnancies due to a lack of sexual and reproductive awareness. Comparison of the Speed of Enrollment for Clinical Trials Conducted by Japanese and Global Pharmaceutical Companies
In this study, we examined the speed of enrollment period in clinical trials. We surveyed clinical trials from January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2019, covering the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in each global sales ranking (Global 10) and the Japanese sales ranking (Japan 10).
