Applications of artificial intelligence in the analysis of dental panoramic radiographs: An overview of systematic reviews
CONCLUSIONS: Currently, AI applications can significantly support dentists in dental panoramic radiograph analysis. As systematic reviews on AI become outdated quickly, their regular updating is recommended. Clinical Trial Registration: CRD42023416048.PMID:37665008 | DOI:10.1259/dmfr.20230284

An extremely lightweight CNN model for the diagnosis of chest radiographs in resource-constrained environments
CONCLUSIONS: We design a lightweight CNN architecture for the chest x-ray classification task by introducing ExLNet which uses a novel DCISE blocks to reduce the computational burden. We show the effectiveness of the proposed architecture through various experiments performed on publicly available datasets. The proposed architecture shows consistent performance in binary as well as multi-class classification tasks and outperforms other lightweight CNN architectures. Due to a significant reduction in the computational requirements, our method can be useful for resource-constrained clinical environment as well.PMID:37665774 ...

Pneumatosis cystoides intestinalis mimicking free intraabdominal air following chemotherapy for relapsed acute myeloblastic leukemia in a transplanted neutropenic child: a case report
CONCLUSIONS: PI is an uncommon complication, and direct radiography/computed tomography scans are very helpful in making the diagnosis in suspicious cases. PI, should be kept in mind, especially in transplanted or relapsed leukemia patients receiving intensive chemotherapy.PMID:37661686 | DOI:10.24953/turkjped.2023.116

Partial tarsal arthrodesis with closing wedge ostectomy for treatment of bilateral twisted leg deformity in a cat
This article reports the findings obtained from CT imaging of a cat with twisted leg deformity. The current case was successfully managed by closing wedge ostectomy without partial transection of the common calcaneal tendon.PMID:37663030 | PMC:PMC10426247
